노인의 심리사회적 잠재유형에 따른 성공적 노화와 정신건강의 차이: 인지적 신념, 정서조절, 자기돌봄행동, 사회적 지지를 중심으로

The purpose of this study was to identify latent groups of older adults based on the integrated aspects of cognition, emotion, behavior, and relationships, and to examine the differences in successful aging and mental health among these classified groups. A total of 300 Korean older adults participated in an online survey using scales measuring cognitive beliefs, emotion regulation, self-care behaviors, and perceived social support. Latent profile analysis (LPA) was conducted to analyze the data, and BCH was performed to examine differences in successful aging and mental health across the profiles. Five psychosocial latent profiles were identified among older adults. Profile 1 (Low-Resource-Unstable type) exhibited low levels across memory self-efficacy, emotion regulation, self-care, and social support, representing a vulnerable group. Profile 2 (Regulation-compensation type) showed low memory control but high cognitive reappraisal and emotional flexibility. Profile 3 (Open-Caring type) demonstrated balanced levels across cognitive beliefs, emotion regulation, self-care, and social support. Profile 4 (Cognitive-Biased type) had high cognitive beliefs but low emotion regulation and social resources. Profile 5 (High-Resource-Functional type) exhibited high levels across all psychosocial resources, representing an adaptive group. Significant differences were found in successful aging and mental health across profiles. Based on the findings, intervention strategies tailored to each psychosocial profile type among older adults are discussed.
