선박 내부재에 대한 Seam 생성의 경제성 연구

Economic Study of Seam Creation for Ship Internal Pieces

초록

Ships are large structures made by connecting properly reinforced steel plates. A seam is called the part where the plates are joined. If these seams are formed and placed appropriately, the wasted portion of the steel plate can be minimized. This study addressed the following issues. First, it presents a method of applying seams that considers the relationship between the width efficiency cost (also known as 'width extra') and seam formation. Second, it proposes a scrap reduction measure for various internal ship components through proper seam formation. Finally, the methods presented in this study and a previous paper were applied to an actual ship to verify their cost-saving effects. After applying some seam-related methods, a cost-saving effect of approximately 50 million Korean won was obtained. If these results are used properly, shipyards will be able to reduce some of the material costs associated with shipbuilding.
