국방부 국방백서의 내용체계에 대한 비판적 분석

초록

This study aims to empirically analyze whether South Korea’s National Defense White Paper meets the requirements of a public language narrative system from the perspective of its public audience. To this end, the White Paper’s understandability was analyzed multidimensionally across four levels: linguistic, expressive, informational, and structural. The analysis revealed that the National Defense White Paper is a document with high difficulty for the general public to understand, and it suffers from inaccuracies in notation and presentation, limitations in the use of auxiliary materials, and limitations in its narrative structure. Based on this, the study explored ways to develop the National Defense White Paper into an understandable public language narrative system.
