중환자실 간호사의 인간중심간호 수행도와 수행 경험

초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of Person-centered Care Nursing (PCN) and to explore the Person-centered performance experiences of intensive care unit (ICU) nurses. This study had a mixed design, viz., a cross-sectional descriptive study combined with a qualitative study conducted using in-depth interviews. The study participants were 160 nurses with ICU experience. There were 16 qualitative research subjects with high PCN performance ratings. Data were analyzed using SPSS 24.0, and qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis. The average PCN score was 3.42 out of 5. Four key themes, namely, sympathetic nursing, respectful nursing, individual nursing, and professional nursing, were identified by analyzing interviews on PCN experience. This study sought to understand the meaning of PCN according to ICU characteristics and to provide basic data to assist ICU nurses in the clinical setting. Therefore, we suggest research studies and practical efforts based on the results of this study be undertaken to devise a plan for improving Person-centered nursing in ICU settings. We believe that these efforts will improve the quality of intensive care unit nursing performance in the long term.
