조선시대 문헌을 통한 진주검무의 정체성 연구
초록
Jinju Geommu originated from Hwangchangrangmu of Silla and developed through Gyobang and court Jeongjae during the Joseon Dynasty. This study examined the transmission context and identity of Geommu, focusing on the literature data of the Joseon Dynasty,『Akbusi』,『Uigwe』, 『Pungsokhwa』, and 『Gyobangga』. In particular, "Uiambyulje Dance" is deeply related to the identity of Jinju Geommu, and was performed in the form of a ritual dance to honor Nongae's spirit of national security and loyalty. In addition, Hwang Chang-rang's sword dance, which appeared in "Akbusi" in the Joseon Dynasty, symbolized the spirit of national security and Hwarangdo, and later changed to a form of Gyobang sword dance centered on female Gisaeng. The sword dance performed in Jinju Gyobang in the late Joseon Dynasty built its own artistry by combining elements of the court and private dances. Jinju Geommu, handed down by Choi Soon-i of Jinju Gyobang, was designated as a national intangible heritage in 1967, and has been continuously handed down since then. This study sheds light on the fact that Jinju Geommu is not just a performing art, but an intangible heritage reflecting its regional identity, and sought a sustainable transmission plan through the Uiam separation system.
