This study employs the Lean Canvas framework to systematically compare the business models of domestic and global silver care robot startups. By analyzing functionality across customer segments, it identified unmet needs(“gap features”) and proposed four tailored service scenarios for distinct elderly groups: those living alone, those with chronic illnesses, those with mobility limitations, and those at risk of dementia. The findings revealed that current silver care robots often lack critical features, such as daily living support and mobility assistance for elderly individuals living alone, advanced health monitoring for those with chronic conditions, cognitive stimulation and emergency response capabilities for users with mobility limitations, and comprehensive daily support for groups at risk of dementia. In response, this study proposed the Smart Living Support Package, Advanced Health Monitoring Service, Cognitive–Emergency Care System, and Daily Companion Memory Service scenarios. These results offer practical insights for aging-tech product design, R&D policy, and public-private collaboration, advancing demand-driven innovation in the silver care robotics sector.
