초록
Golden flower tea is known as a tea fermented by yellow colored microbial colonies found dominantly in Chinese Fuzhuan brick tea. In this study, a golden flowering fungi, Eurotium cristatum, was isolated from Chinese Fuzhuan brick tea and characterized. To isolate the strain, the tea extract was spread out on potato dextrose agar plates and cultured at 25 °C for 120 hrs. Phylogenetic analysis through UPGMA showed that the isolated golden flowering microbes were most similar to E. cristatum. This suggests that the isolated microbes are grouped to E. cristatum subspecies. This microbe was registered at the National Agro Biodiversity Center (KACC93171P) for golden flower tea development.
