With the implementation of high school score system, the contents of education have been processed in various methods, unlike the past education, that there is a demand for space to respond as appropriate to the education situation. The purpose of this study is to present the design appropriated to the characteristics of applicable school to design the learning space by applying the user participation design to the school space innovation project responding to the education change. Through the workshops of diverse ways, it is designed by reflecting the demand or idea of user appropriately, and through the consulting session with the TF team, the home base and lecture halls are designed. The home base was divided into personal support, small group support, and rest to set the direction of spatial design. The space applies the place for individuals to study, small boxes where small groups can gather to work together, terraced meeting space, bookshelves that support learning, and tables for a small number of people to gather and take a rest. The lecture rooms were planned as large and general lecture rooms in consideration of their capacity, and the electronic board was applied not to standardize the front, and also materials were used to finish it through design. Under this study, the design is formulated to fit into the characteristics of subject school for the home base and lecture hall design process through the user participation design. The user participation scheme is one of the design methodologies to enhance the frequency of use and level of satisfaction for users. In the future, it is expected to be facilitated as a reference data when the direction of user participating design is established or developed within the school space innovation project.
