선박 화재에서 해양경찰의 임무에 관한 고찰

A Study on the Mission of Korea Coast Guard in a Ship Fire

초록

If ship on fire moored at the pier or port then firefighters will be dispatched to extinguish, but if it occurs at sea, the ship will have no choice but to extinguish it or rely on a nearby Coast Guard ship. Although the Coast Guard ship is in charge of security, safety management, and lifesaving in the maritime security zone, the jurisdiction of one dispatched ship is wide, and there are many ships to manage, and even if an accident that needs to be urgently responded to, such as a fire accident, it cannot respond as quickly as fire fighting due to factors such as distance from the fired ship or marine weather. In addition, even if you arrive at the scene of a fire, if you first rescue and extinguish maritime escapees and essential rescuers inside and outside the ship, there are many cases where the fire spreads throughout the ship and burns all or sinks. Small fishing boats account for a large proportion of fire accidents in coastal waters, and due to the nature of the FRP hull, fire spreads very quickly, and small ships dispatched to extinguish the fire are not equipped with proper fire extinguishing equipment and equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare conditions for rapid fire extinguishing at sea through improved fire extinguishing equipment, facilities, and professional education and training by considering the problems of how to respond to fire extinguishing the fire on a Coast Guard ship in the event of a fire ship at sea.
