『교방가요』소재 교방정재 분석을 통한 교방정재의 변모양상 : 공연예술 3요소를 바탕으로

초록

The purpose of this research is to analyze Gyobangjeongjae, which is based on the material of “Gyobanggayo”, from the perspective of performing arts and to explore desirable development methods for Gyobangjeongjae through its transformation patterns. Gyobang culture is situated between court culture and folk culture, characterized by the integration of regional elements. Thus, Gyobangjeongjae mostly derives from court dances and represents the flower of Gyobang culture, which has been adapted to fit local cultural contexts. “Gyobanggayo” is a record that reveals the realities of Gyobangjeongjae in the 19th century. Therefore, the researcher analyzes the aspects of Gyobangjeongjae included in “Gyobanggayo” using the three elements of performing arts as a framework from the perspective of dance studies. This examination reveals that the current Gyobangjeongjae has reached a limitation as a performing art and lacks distinctiveness compared to other performing arts. To promote the future development of Gyobangjeongjae, the researcher believes it should be recontextualized as a comprehensive art form that integrates dance, music, and drama, while also stimulating the interest of audiences through various performance formats. Additionally, it is essential to utilize cultural content that assigns new value to court dances, viewing them not merely as dance performances but as part of a larger performance context. In this regard, the study aims to compare the past and present of Gyobangjeongjae from the perspective of performing arts and suggest future directions and development strategies.
