왕안석 노장 이해의 노장학사적 의미에 관한 일고찰 - 위진현학과의 비교를 중심으로 -

초록

This paper examines the main concepts and thoughts shown in Wang An-seok's understanding of Laozi and Zhuangzi, from the perspective of the history of Laozi and Zhuangzi. The basic structure that Wang An-seok, a scholar of the Northern Song Dynasty, aimed for through understanding Laozi and Zhuangzi was to accept Taoism from a Confucian standpoint, and in this process, his consciousness of the new law reform is also clearly revealed. With the traditional view of Confucianism-Taoism as a confrontational relationship in mind, Wang seems to be trying to come up with a compromise that can embrace or integrate Confucian value orientation through a certain degree of defense and hierarchical setting for Taoism. Wang’s efforts appeared in several forms: the root[fundamental 本] and the end[terminal末] theoretical interpretation of Laozi's non-existence and existence, the logic of ‘correcting the evils of the world(矯弊)’ on Zhangzi, and the evaluation that Laozi and Zhangzi were only immersed in the realm of metaphysics. The above study is also an attempt to broaden the content of the History of Lao-Zhuang Studies(老莊學史) by revealing the network of concepts and thoughts related to the understanding of the Laozi and Zhuangzi after the Song Dynasty from the Weijin Northern and Southern dynasties, which was created around the relationship between Confucianism and Taoism.
