1173년 플랜태저넷 반란과 알리에노르 다키텐느의 정치 전략
초록
Aliénor of Aquitaine, queen of both the Capetian and Plantagenet dynasties, reshaped the political landscape of France and England through her annulled marriage and subsequent remarriage. As Duchess of Aquitaine, she actively participated in the Second Crusade, thereby formalizing her sovereign authority, and simultaneously emerged as a leading figure in the courtly culture of Poitiers(courtoisie). Distinct from the conventional image of medieval western women, Aliénor of Aquitaine was a strategist with a formidable will to power. In 1170, Henry the Young King was crowned, but in March 1173, he rebelled against his father, Henry II, who refused to share royal authority. Supported by King Louis VII of France, Henry the Young King launched the revolt. Aliénor of Aquitaine actively backed the rebellion alongside her sons, opposing her husband Henry II. However, the uprising ultimately failed. As a result, she disappeared from the political stage for fifteen years, only to reemerge at the center of the Plantagenet dynasty with her son, Richard the Lionheart. This paper seeks to move beyond traditional interpretations of Aliénor of Aquitaine as a mere catalyst for Franco-English conflict. Instead, it aims to analyze her role as a political strategist who actively led the 1173 Plantagenet rebellion, and to examine the political terrain of 12th-century England and France from a historical perspective.
