한국 마르크스주의의 경제위기와 생태론 논의: 과천연구실의 사례

초록

This paper reexamines theoretical developments in Marxist economics and Marxist ecology within Korean Marxism, focusing on Yoon, Soyoung and the Gwacheon Research Group. Their work is known for the logistic model of capital accumulation, which treats accumulation not as unlimited exponential growth, but as a process constrained by an upper limit. Because this model implies a limit to accumulation, it can be reinterpreted in relation to ecological limits and carrying capacity. However, this connection was not fully developed in their work. The logistic model remained separated from Marxist ecological theory and did not explain how the rate of profit, capital accumulation, and ecological limits could be understood within a single framework. This paper argues that the importance of the Gwacheon Research Group lies not in a completed theory, but in an unrealized possibility. That possibility can be recovered by reinterpreting the logistic model as an ecological-economic framework.
