다문화청소년의 국가정체성과 사회적 고립감 간 구조적 관계: 이중문화수용태도와 지각된 부모 지지의 순차적 매개효과

초록

Objectives: This study examined the structural relationships among national identity, multicultural acceptance, perceived parental support, and social isolation in multicultural adolescents, testing the sequential mediating effects of multicultural acceptance and perceived parental support. Methods: Data from 1,833 second-year middle school students were drawn from the second wave of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study (MAPS). SPSS 29.0 was used to examine the relationships among variables, and a serial multiple mediation model was tested using PROCESS Macro 4.2 to analyze the sequential mediating effects. Results: Sequential mediation of multicultural acceptance and perceived parental support in the relationship between national identity and social isolation was statistically significant. Multicultural acceptance alone did not significantly influence social isolation, but exerted an indirect effect through perceived parental support. Conclusion: These findings suggest the importance of multi-level interventions that focus not only on adolescents themselves but also on strengthening parental support when developing programs to prevent social isolation among multicultural youth
