초록

This narrative review aimed to synthesize existing research on disaster nursing education for undergraduate nursing students in South Korea. Seven electronic databases (EMBASE, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, RISS, KISS, and DBpia) were searched, and eleven studies—ten quantitative and one qualitative—were included. Simulation-based education was the predominant instructional method, employing table-top simulations, high-fidelity scenarios, standardized patients, multi-phase modules, and geriatric disaster simulations. Programs integrated theoretical lectures, group discussions, staged timelines, and structured debriefing models. Across studies, significant improvements were observed in disaster knowledge, preparedness, triage performance, confidence, teamwork, communication, self-efficacy, and psychological safety. Integrating disaster education as a core curricular component, supported by structured simulation, partnerships, and ongoing competency assessment, is essential to prepare nursing graduates for complex disaster response.
