초록

This study investigates the optimization of helical gear tooth profiles in compact drive systems to reduce transmission errors and mitigate load concentrations. Microgeometry-based tooth modifications are iteratively applied using Romax Designer, and their effects on load distribution and transmission error are evaluated. The analysis shows that the peak contact load shifts toward the center of the gear face, resulting in a more uniform distribution. In addition, the transmission error curve becomes smoother, indicating improved meshing characteristics. The optimized gear is subsequently manufactured, and precision measurements confirm that all key parameters satisfy the specified tolerance requirements. These findings demonstrate that microgeometry optimization effectively reduces load concentration and transmission error, providing a robust technical basis for the design of high-performance gear systems.
