초ㆍ중등 전문상담교사의 위(Wee)클래스 운영 경험에 관한 현상학적 연구

초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning and essential structure of field experience in the Wee class through Colaizzi's phenomenological research method. Participants in the study conducted in-depth interviews with 15 professional counselor teachers with experience in operating Wee class among those with a level 1 or higher counseling-related certification. As a result of the analysis, 62 semantic units were derived. Through this, 10 topics and 4 categories were identified. The four categories were ‘Experiences in the field of school counseling as a professional counselor teachers’, ‘Structural limitations of the Wee class system’, ‘Wee class counseling support and barriers of the system’, and ‘Promoting personal growth to maintain identity’. The 10 topics in this category are 'negative perceptions and attitudes of school members', 'violation of excessive demands and boundaries around them', 'ambiguous roles and work boundaries', 'lack of programs and manuals', 'lack of professional counseling personnel', 'counseling environment and budget issues', 'improvement of poor treatment issues', 'recognition of the need for professional placement', 'crisis of professionalism', and 'personal growth', and these topics can be seen as important tasks for effective Wee class operation. Through the results, academic discussions on Wee class operation, future research tasks, implications and suggestions for Wee class operation were discussed.
