비린 맛･소화불량･알러지 유발 3가지 단백질이 부재하며스타키오스 함량이 낮은 속푸른 검정콩 품종 ‘자양’

초록

Black soybeans [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] with green cotyledon have long been widely cultivated due to their high content of health-beneficial anthocyanins and lutein. However, mature seeds contain components that cause a beany taste, indigestion, allergies, and quality deterioration. The ‘Jayang’ cultivar with black seed coat, green cotyledon, tetra-null genotype that possesses very low stachyose content and lacking three proteins of lipoxygenase, KTI, and lectin in mature seeds was developed for the first time domestically and internationally. The ‘Jayang’ cultivar was selected from a breeding population derived from crossing the F1-37(8) female and the 18A1 male parent. ‘Jayang’ has white flower color, determinate growth habit, pale brown pubescence and brown pod color at maturity. The seed of ‘Jayang’ cultivar has a black seed coat color and a black hilum. The crude protein and crude fat contents of ‘Jayang’ seeds were 41.7% and 16.5%, respectively. Its stachyose content was 2.09 g･kg , significantly lower than the 10.23 g･kg found in the check cultivar ‘Cheongja 3’. ‘Jayang’ exhibited resistance to soybean mosaic virus, soybean necrosis, pod and stem blight, black root rot, and bacterial pustule. When sown around June 22 ‘Jayang’ matures around October 25, with a stem height of 78.3 cm and a 100-seed weight of approximately 34.6 g. The average yield across three locations in 2022 was about 3.04 tons/ha. ‘Jayang’ has been registered as a new soybean cultivar (registration number: 10519, registration date: March 06, 2025) by the Korea Seed & Variety Service, Republic of Korea.
