전산유체역학을 이용한 다차원 HT-PEMFC에서 전해질 막의 전도도에 따른 성능 비교 연구

초록
The high temperature polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell has the advantage of high CO resistance and easy water management. However, it has the disadvantage that repeated experiments are limited because the membrane is easily damaged by operating at high temperatures, and the repurchase cost cannot be ignored. In order to solve these shortcomings, there is an increasing interest in research predicting the performance of actual cells using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), which can accurately calculate the interaction between various physical phenomena. However, it is difficult to know which model is suitable for reality because there are not many reports of analysis of multidimensional models in papers simulating several fuel cell models including HT-PEMFC. Therefore, in this study, 1D and 2D HT-PEMFC models dominated by the Butler–Volmer equation were produced using CFD, and the performance according to the electrolyte membrane conductivity was analyzed. Through this, we tried to find out the characteristics and limitations of each multidimensional model.
