청년 농업 창업자의 역량이 농업성과와 정주지속의사에 미치는 영향

초록

This study examines how agripreneurial competencies influence agricultural performance and rural settlement intention among young farmers, a key group for sustaining agriculture amid rural aging and youth decline. Agripreneurial competency was defined as a multi-dimensional capacity-including social networks, learning ability, and practical experience-measured through four factors: social activity participation, learning activity participation, learning competency, and 4-H involvement. Based on a survey of 107 young farmers and regression analysis, results show that learning competency, social activity participation, and 4-H participation positively affect both agricultural performance and settlement intention. Learning competency especially strengthened problem-solving and self-directed management. Social activities improved outcomes by expanding networks and emotional support, while 4-H activities enhanced leadership and community engagement. Learning activities affected settlement intention but not performance, implying long-term rather than immediate economic impact. The study suggests shifting policy from financial support toward competency development, emphasizing experiential learning, community linkages, and self-directed growth.
