Design of Gateway-based Handover Security Protocol for Non-Terrestrial Network Environment

초록

Non-Terrestrial Network is a next generation communication technology that provides global connectivity via satellites High Altitude Platform Stations etc. NTN can support communications in remote areas, ocean and airspace, and enables cutting-edge application such as self-driving car and remote medical services in war or disaster areas. NTN aims to provide wide coverage and seamless connectivity by providing high data transfer rate, system capacity, spectrum efficiency, and low latency. However, these advancements require new authentication protocols to address security and privacy issues. This paper proposes an authentication protocol that satisfies these requirements, and verifies its security using formal verification tools Scyther.
