학습자 중심 교육에 대한 이론적 고찰

초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the theoretical background and components of learner-centered education emphasized in the modern curriculum, focusing on major literature. To this end, the researcher first examined the educational meaning and background of learner-centered education from a historical perspective, and further examined the applicability of it in the music education field by exploring the curriculum and teaching and learning methods that are actually applied in the school field. As a result, learner-centered education was suggested as an alternative to prevent the uniformity of education under public education and to target the talent image required by modern society, which was found to be a voluntary, active, and direct experience-oriented teaching and learning method based on the premise of learner self-direction. In addition, for this, the role of the instructor in which the learner's meta-cognition can be expressed is emphasized as an important factor.
