초록

This paper introduces a metasurface cross-polarization converter in reflection mode. The cross-polarization conversion is achieved through the use of modified double complementary split-ring resonators. The proposed unit cell of the cross-polarization converter features a high-impedance surface along one diagonal axis and a low-impedance surface along the orthogonal diagonal axis. This anisotropic surface impedance creates a phase difference between the reflected wave components along these two axes, resulting in a rotation of the polarization direction of the reflected wave relative to the incident wave. The measured results show that the Polarization Conversion Ratio (PCR) exceeds 87% within the frequency range of 5.71-7.06 GHz. A prototype is fabricated, and its performance is evaluated by comparing the experimental findings with the simulated results.
