초록

This study seeks to provide new insights into the French pension system by focusing on the Special Regime, which governs pensions for French civil servants. To achieve this, it examines the fundamental characteristics of the French civil service and its pension framework. Amid growing social tensions surrounding pension reform in France, the need to restructure civil servant pensions has long been debated. Recent reforms have emphasized integrating public- and private-sector pension schemes. Similarly, in Korea, discussions on merging the civil servant pension system with the national pension system are gaining momentum. Against this backdrop, this study aims to draw meaningful implications by analyzing the French experience.
