공공기관의 사회적 공헌 활동 사례 분석과 발전 방안에 관한 연구: 경남혁신도시 이전공공기관을 중심으로

The government began relocating public institutions concentrated in the Seoul metropolitan area in 2012 to promote balanced national development. One of the primary goals of this relocation policy is to revitalize local economies and strengthen the social contribution activities of public institutions through mutual growth with local communities. This study aims to analyze the current status of social contribution activities conducted by public institutions relocated to Gyeongnam Innovation City and to propose practical directions for mutual growth with the local community. Based on a literature review and institutional reports, the study categorizes and evaluates the characteristics and limitations of these activities. While most institutions engage in programs aligned with their organizational roles, many initiatives remain fragmented, lacking local customization, inter-institutional collaboration, and long-term sustainability. Accordingly, the study suggests three key strategies: strengthening community-based initiatives, building cooperative networks among institutions, and establishing systematic and sustainable implementation frameworks. In particular, the case of the "Momo Market," developed through collaboration with local nonprofit and cultural organizations, is highlighted as a representative model of demand-driven public sector engagement.
