초록

The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF), the latest fifth-generation fighter jet, is cited as a prime example of the successful application of nonlinear dynamic inversion (NDI) control theory to flight control systems to enhance control performance. However, the prerequisites for NDI control theory require accurate aircraft dynamic models, and achieving control performance is significantly and adversely affected by uncertainties in modeling or unmodeled dynamic characteristics. Given this premise, research aimed at improving NDI control performance has been active in aerospace for decades. This paper reviews published papers and reports from an aerospace perspective to examine how to design NDI controls that address model uncertainty and achieve robust, improved control performance. The results of this review will assist students studying in the aerospace field, as well as engineers and researchers working in the aircraft industry, in understanding flight control system design.
