초록
This study This study aims to promote a conceptual and structural understanding of policy research by analyzing academic studies on stateless and unregistered children in Korea, and to identify related challenges to devise future policy measures. The research analyzed 65 academic studies using text mining techniques, and identified the conceptual connectivity and main themes through semantic network analysis and topic analysis. According to the study results, these children are primarily regarded as subjects of multicultural policies, indicating that the disadvantaged status of their parents is directly inherited by the children. Due to the difficulty in assessing their actual conditions or current status, it is suggested to refer to various cases from other countries, and that research on indefiniteness should be continuously conducted. The topic analysis results categorize Topic 1 as the examination of the domestic legislative system and the realization of international conventions, and Topic 2 as the approach to human rights issues concerning stateless children. Compliance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child can serve as a philosophical foundation or legislative basis for research on stateless children. It is proposed that a comprehensive examination of the discrimination and exclusion experienced due to non-recognition and indefiniteness status is necessary to establish a framework for policies concerning these children and to derive solutions to the problems they face.
