This work presents a high-gain, wideband, circularly polarized transmitarray antenna (TAA) designed for high-speed wireless backhaul applications. The proposed TAA element achieves a complete 360° transmission phase range and maintains a linear phase response over a broad frequency range, even at incidence angles of up to 40°. The variable rotation technique (VRT) is used to assign the appropriate phase to each element. The array, consisting of 36×36 elements, is fed by a dual circularly polarized corrugated horn antenna. The proposed TAA achieves a simulated peak realized gain of 29.6 dBic and a total aperture efficiency (TAE) of 40.7%. The simulated 1-dB gain bandwidth extends from 24 to 28 GHz, during which the axial ratio (AR) remains below 1.5. © 2025 IEEE.
