만성질환 여부에 따른 운동이 심뇌혈관 진단에 미치는 영향

The Impact of Exercise on Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diagnosis According to the Presence of Chronic Diseases

초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze how the practice of exercise, depending on the diagnosis of chronic diseases, affects the diagnosis of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in middle-aged men and women in Korea, as well as the risk factors for these conditions. The study utilized raw data from participants in the 8th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2019-2021) and selected 2,688 middle-aged men and 2,717 middle-aged women aged 40-64 years as subjects. The results of the analysis showed that the risk ratios were significantly higher for age (OR: 0.377, p<0.05) and gender (OR: 4.007, p<0.05). Among the chronic disease factors, obesity (OR: 2.380, p<0.05), hypertension (OR: 2.253, p<0.05), and hyperlipidemia (OR: 1.768, p<0.041) showed higher risk ratios. In groups diagnosed with one or more chronic diseases, those who engaged in aerobic and strength exercises had a lower risk ratio (OR: 0.492, p=0.018). The risk factors for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases included age, gender, hypertension, and dyslipidemia, and those who combined aerobic and anaerobic exercises showed a significantly lower number of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diagnoses. Therefore, regardless of gender, it is believed that middle-aged individuals can positively influence the reduction of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diagnoses by appropriately combining aerobic and anaerobic exercises.
