간호학과 학술 보고서 쓰기 수업 사례 연구

초록

This study examines the case of an academic report writing class, structured in the form of a term paper, conducted with 147 sophomore nursing students. It aims to identify problems and propose improvements, ultimately offering suggestions for educational strategies and directions. Specifically, the students reported high levels of satisfaction with the overall course (82%), course recommendation (94%), instructor feedback (94%), and textbook development and compilation (82%). In particular, 100% of students expressed a lack of confidence in writing, presentation, and discussion, and 92% felt uncertain about argumentative and persuasive writing. These findings highlight the need to revise the Korean language curriculum in light of the characteristics of the digital generation and the demands of the 4th and 5th Industrial Revolutions. To improve the course, it is recommended to reduce the class size to 20–30 students, adjust the course to 3 credits with 3 instructional hours per week, designate it as a mandatory liberal arts subject, and establish extracurricular writing support programs and writing centers.
