富士康工厂设立前后的中国机场效率变化分析: DEA模型运用

With the continuous development of the electronics manufacturing service industry, the demand for air cargo has continued to rise. This study uses a DEA model to analyze the operational efficiency of six airports near Foxconn factories, including Shenzhen Bao'an and Zhengzhou Xinzheng, based on panel data of terminal area, runway length input, and cargo throughput output from 2001 to 2024. The study found that Shenzhen Bao'an Airport consistently maintained DEA relative effectiveness, with a high match between facility scale input and cargo output. Zhengzhou Xinzheng Airport showed the most significant improvement in airport efficiency after Foxconn established a factory. Yantai Penglai Airport's efficiency also improved after Foxconn's establishment, but the overall efficiency remained low. Chengdu Shuangliu Airport's overall efficiency was second only to Shenzhen Bao'an Airport. Although its efficiency slightly improved after Foxconn's presence, its average efficiency was surpassed by Zhengzhou Xinzheng Airport. Chongqing Jiangbei Airport and Wuhan Tianhe Airport had already achieved high efficiency before Foxconn's arrival. However, after Foxconn's establishment, their efficiency declined due to advanced airport facility investment and slower cargo growth. Overall, Shenzhen Bao'an Airport's efficiency significantly leads other airports, and other airports have considerable room for improvement.
