초록
This study aimed to examine the mental health status of employees in technology-intensive industries and to provide foundational data for tailored interventions targeting high-risk groups through a systematic classification of mental health risk factors. For this purpose, data from 313 employees of company A were collected using the Psychological Safety Diagnosis Inventory (PSDI) and analyzed. Results from latent profile analysis identified three significant profiles: a “low-risk group” with overall low levels of mental health risk factors, a “moderate-risk group” with medium levels, and a “high-risk group” with elevated levels. A chi-square test conducted to examine demographic differences among groups revealed that the high-risk group showed higher proportions of women, younger employees, those with 3–5 years of tenure, and specific job roles, while no significant differences were found by occupational category or employment type. A multivariate analysis comparing protective and risk factors indicated that the high-risk group scored significantly higher on additional risk factors such as psychosocial vulnerability, suicide risk, and dysfunctional coping, whereas the low-risk group reported higher levels of protective factors, including functional coping strategies and psychological internal and external assets. Based on these findings, theoretical and practical implications, limitations, and directions for future research were discussed.
