그림책 통합 요리활동이 유아의 식습관과 또래 유능성에 미치는 영향

초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of cooking activities integrated picture books on young children's dietary habits and peer competence. Methods To achieve this, ten five-year-old children attending a public kindergarten attached to I Elementary School in T City, Gyeongnam Province, were selected as the subjects of the study, and cooking activities in tegrated picture books were conducted in three sessions of one picture book per week for a total of 54 sessions for 18 weeks. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 program to analyze the effects on young child ren's dietary habits and peer competence using paired sample t-test. Results First, the cooking activities integrated picture books had a positive effect on the overall dietary habits of young children, as well as on sub-factors such as hygiene awareness, table manners, and eating attitudes. Second, the cooking activities integrated picture books positively impacted overall peer competence and its sub-factors, including sociability, prosocial behavior, and leadership. Conclusions These results suggest that cooking activities integrated picture books can be an effective teach ing-learning method for improving young children's dietary habits and peer competence.
