- Abstract
- Recently, interest in BIM has been increasing, and various studies are under way to utilize BIM technology. Research is underway on the cost estimation method using BIM, but it is still difficult to make it practical. The biggest reason is that there is currently a lack of analysis of the relationship between BoQ and Quantity Bill and research on how to improve it. The purpose of this study is to construct a finishing work packages for calculating interior finishing work by analyzing the existing BoQ document and quantity statement of the school facilities and correlating the space, site, and work information used at the cost estimation phase. In addition, we would like to predict the interior work cost through Monte Carlo simulation. The purpose of the analysis is to analyze the appropriateness of the cost estimate using the interior work packages for the actual case sites. The analysis results showed that it could be applied to approximate cost estimates of the interior work at the basic design stage. However, it is necessary to consider additional detail impact factors for the application of the detailed design phase.
