Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the stability problem for the two dimensional nematic liquid crystal flows with horizontal viscosity in the spatial domain T × ℝ. Based on the energy estimate, anisotropic type Sobolev inequality, Poincaré type inequality and bootstrapping argument, global stability is established when the initial data axe closed to an equilibrium state and sufñciently small.
