- Abstract
- With the popularization and development of new energy vehicles (NEVs), range anxiety has become an unavoidable issue, rendering the enhancement of NEV energy efficiency a prominent research focus. This paper reviews the research progress in improving NEV energy efficiency and forecasts its future development. First, it introduces lightweighting related technologies, encompassing those for vehicle bodies and battery packs, while deliberating on the safety concerns induced by lightweighting. Then, it explores technologies such as the packaging and thermal management of battery packs. Additionally, it presents the control systems and motor technologies of NEVs. Finally, it discusses the challenges and future prospects in boosting NEV energy efficiency, offering a reference for both research endeavors and industrial applications in this domain.
