dc.description.abstractIn this study, we calculated the specifications, shift structure, equivalent torque, and equivalent rotational speed of a planetary reducer in a hydraulic transmission and analyzed changes in tangential load at the bite position. We also examined the change in contact stress for each section and compared the maximum contact stress with the allowable value for the gear material to determine the safety factor. An analysis of the strength of the gears in fitting was performed by using the standard AGMA strength rating formula based on Hertz contact theory. We compared the calculated partial surface contact stress of the planetary reducer with the allowable contact stress for the material calculated from the S/N curve to verify that the obtained safety factor satisfied the relevant regulations. The results show that a planetary reducer with a gear component designed based on this strength analysis would ensure the safety and convenience of the operator and exhibit improved mechanical efficiency in shifting.-
