- Abstract
- 이 논문은 근대 전환기 강우(江右) 지역의 한주학파(寒洲學派)가 강회(講會)를 통해 심즉리(心卽理) 명제를 교리적으로 확립하고 확산한 과정을 분석한다. 이진상(李震相)은 마음(心)을 리(理)로 규정하여 성리학의 리기이원론(理氣二元論)을 극복하고 심성(心性)의 일원화를 시도하였다. 이러한 사유는 강회 속에서 제자들의 문답과 토론을 거치며 실천적 교리로 체계화되었다. 노사학파(蘆沙學派) 조성가(趙性家)와의 사단칠정(四端七情) 논변, 허유(許愈)–정재규(鄭載圭) 간 교류, 정제용(鄭濟鎔)–최숙민(崔琡民)의 서소정(舒嘯亭) 강회, 정제용과 허유, 성재학파(性齋學派)의 조원순(曺垣淳)과 박상태(朴尙台) 간의 강회는 심즉리(心卽理) 명제가 지역 학문 네트워크로 확산된 구체적 경로를 보여준다. 한주학파의 강회는 교리의 검증과 전파를 결합한 실천적 제도로서, 근대 전환기 유학이 전통의 정통성과 새로운 사유를 병행한 지적 실험의 장이었음을 보여준다.
