dc.description.abstractAutomatic tapping device parts and systems are widely used in mold machines and can be applied to components of automobiles, heavy industries, and shipbuilding industries. Gears are primarily used as power transmission elements and are widely used in precision industrial equipment fields that require various structures. A study was conducted to evaluate the contact pattern by modifying the gear microgeometry. A design with improved bending strength and contact pattern was presented using the Romax and Recurdyn specialized gear analysis programs. By modifying the microgeometry, the contact area of the interacting gear pair was modified to reduce slip loss and improve the durability and efficiency of the gear.-
