| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship among change-oriented leadership, IT infra management, work engagement, and job satisfaction for the employees in diverse industries. Especially, we pay attention to the moderating effect of the competence on IT infra management with change-oriented leader behaviors on the two outcome variables based on conservation of resource theory. The results showed that change-oriented leadership was positively related to both work engagement and job satisfaction of the employees. Also, IT infra management was positively related to the two outcome variables. We then investigated the moderating effect of IT infra management among change-oriented leadership, work engagement, and job satisfaction. The two interaction terms had positive influences on the two outcome variables of the employees. More specifically, the positive relationships among change-oriented leadership, work engagement, and job satisfaction were stronger, when the employees perceived that the competence on IT infra management was higher. The research findings provide meaningful theoretical and managerial implications from the perspectives of human resource management and management information system. | - |
