| dc.description.abstract | The construction industry exhibits a significantly higher fatality rate than the industrial average, highlighting the need for systematic safety improvement measures. This study seeks to identify the vulnerability factors of construction contractors through a structured performance evaluation and to recommend construction management (CM) firms with the potential to address these vulnerabilities, employing the TOPSIS methodology. A decision matrix was constructed based on evaluation targets and criteria, and the threshold values for identifying vulnerabilities were optimized accordingly. Weights for each evaluation criterion were determined using a data-driven entropy method, the TOPSIS method was employed to rank and recommend the top 10 construction management (CM) firms within comparable project categories. The validity of the recommendations was assessed by comparing them against independent evaluations provided by five domain experts. By applying a consistent, data-driven evaluation framework in place of subjective judgment, the study enhances objectivity and demonstrates improved efficiency compared to conventional approaches. | - |
