dc.description.abstractAn easy-to-implement method is proposed to analyze data on operating window and applied to four case studies. Operating window factor is a physical quantity of energy transfer that is critical to system performance. Operating window(OW) is a range of OW factor values ​​in which failure does not occur. A non-parametric method to determine OW threshold values of lower and upper limits is presented. OW threshold data are analyzed, important factors are determined by elbow method, and optimal factor level combinations are set. Engineers working on product development and process improvement are expected to benefit from this paper when they can find an OW factor of energy transfer which is related to system performance.-
