dc.description.abstractObjectives : The aim of this study was to investigate the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects of Dendropanax morbifera extract (DME) in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells. Methods : The antioxidant properties of DME were evaluated using ABTS radical scavenging assays. The ABTS radical scavenging capacity was measured at 10 μg/mL. The ability to scavenge reactive oxygen species (ROS) was assessed through 2,7-dichlorofluorescin diacetate (DCF-DA) staining and quantification of ROS intensity. The anti-inflammatory properties were investigated through in vitro experiments, focusing on the inhibition of the expression of iNOS and COX-2. Results : DME exhibited significant antioxidant properties, as demonstrated by the ABTS assays. The DME effectively scavenged ROS, as shown by DCF-DA staining. In vitro experiments indicated that DME inhibited the expression of iNOS and COX-2, demonstrating its anti-inflammatory effects. Conclusions : These findings suggest that DME could be a promising candidate for the development of novel therapies for oxidative stress and inflammation-related diseases.-
