Abstract
Veterinary nurses experience a variety of stress during working because they are treated for animals that are difficult to communicate. Therefore, there is a problem with mental health, which can cause disruption not only in veterinary nurse but also in animal care. The accumulated stress can reduce the satisfaction of veterinary nurses. It was necessary to understand this problem, and a tool was needed to find and complement the problem. This study was conducted to investigate the factors of the relationship between these variables and the satisfaction of life. In the present study, 21 Delphi specialists developed 10 questions and examined the rationality, configuration of the content, and reliability of the contents to find appropriateness. As a result of applying to 142 veterinary nurses, the questionnaire was finally completed by being judged to be excellent in all items. The veterinary nurses’ life satisfaction evaluation scale developed in this study is expected to be useful for recognizing and evaluating the mental health of veterinary nurses.
