dc.description.abstractAs global attention to climate change and environmental pollution intensifies the transition to cleaner energy sources such as LNG, is becoming a key focus for the future energy industry. The LNG sector has shown steady growth in recent year with gas turbines playing a vital role in LNG power generation. In this study, thermal-structural analyses were performed on bleed valves of various sizes (12, 16, and 18 inches). The numerical analysis employed experimentally determined values to establish the pressure and temperature parameters for the valves. Through these analyses, the performance of the valves under various operating conditions was comprehensively evaluated. The results revealed distinct deformation and stress values corresponding to different operating conditions. Notably, the 300A valve exhibited the largest deformation (0.91 mm) and the highest localized stress (8,565 MPa). These findings emphasize the critical importance of optimizing valve design to enhance reliability and performance under demanding operational conditions.-
