| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to systematically analyze the characteristics of local resource types used as business items to classify local startups. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted with 10 local entrepreneurs in the western Gyeongnam region, and meaningful themes were discovered using comparative analysis techniques between cases. As a result of the study, local startups are largely classified into three types. First, there is the type that utilizes physical local resources, which is further subdivided into the type of local tourism/experience products that utilize local resources and the type that produces, processes, and sells local agricultural, forestry, and fishery products. Second, there is the type that utilizes intangible local content, which is divided into the type of cultural content planning and the type of digital content resource utilization. Third, there is the type that combines intangible local content with physical space, which can be divided into the type of space regeneration/space creation and the type of community problem solving. This study is significant in contributing to academic discussions on local startups and setting policy directions, and providing practical implications for entrepreneurs who start local startups in the digital age. | - |
