dc.description.abstractThis study aimed at proposing a solution for the inlet deformation control of small aluminum liners by performing thedesign, analysis, prototyping, and performance evaluation of high-pressure ultra-compact composite containers havingless than 1 liter volume for applications such as coolers, air rifles, and paint balls. In particular, we identified theproblem of airtightness due to the thin inlet thickness of aluminum owing to its small size and achieved stable resultsby connecting a high-strength, high-stiffness stainless steel ring. Thus, shape changes of high-pressure vessels can bestably controlled, which can serve as an alternative to control the weight increase associated with dissimilar materialfastenings.-
