- Abstract
- In this paper, we propose a high-isolated antenna array through the use of decoupling to achieve miniaturization and mitigate polarization mismatch. The proposed antenna array consists of high-isolated antennas using a meander line defected ground structure (DGS) for high-isolation. A proposed high-isolated antenna array enables compact antenna size and the ability to receive a uniform power, regardless of the polarization of the transmitting antenna. For performance validation, the received power was calculated in a polarization mismatch environment. The proposed antenna array with a decoupling slot is matched at 5.8 GHz and can receive a uniform power in a polarization mismatch environment. © 2024 IEEE.
