경상남도 고대국어 자료의 가치

Abstract

고대국어 자료 가운데 경상남도의 고대국어 자료에 대한 논의는 아직 없다. 고대국어 자료는 신라를 중심으로 집중되어 있기 때문에 신라의 변방이었을 뿐만 아니라 가야에 속했던 경남 지역에는 고대국어 자료라고 할 만한 것이 많지 않은 것과 무관하지 않다. 이 글은 현재의 경상남도 지역에 전해 오는 고대 금석문 가운데 고대국어 자료로 논할 수 있는 것들을 제시하고 단편적으로나마 논할 수 있는 경남의 고대국어를 살펴 보았다. 가야의 자료는 토기나 칼에 새긴 명문에서 관직명을 확인할 수 있고, 신라와 통일신라 시기의 한문 자료에도 자료에서도 간단하게나마 경남의 고대국어 상황을 알 수 있는 단편적인 자료가 있다. 이러한 논의의 성과는 가야 자료나 신라 자료에서도 경남 지역의 자료는 신라의 것에서 이질적인 자료가 아니라는 사실이다. 문자 생활의 발달사에서 경남 지역도 소외되지 않음을 알 수 있다. 이 글은 또한 산청에서 발견된 사리합의 가치를 집중적으로 논의한다. 이두 자료로서 또는 창작문으로서도 국어국문학적인 가치가 있음을 논의했다. 8세기 자료로서 문법 형태가 나타나는 이두 자료 가운데 가장 우수한 양상을 보이고 있을 뿐만 아니라 ‘기원문’ 부분은 국문학사에서 가장 오래된 창작문으로서의 가능성을 제기한다.

Among the ancient Korean materials, there has been no discussion about Gyeongsangnam-do’s ancient Korean materials. Since ancient Korean materials are concentrated in Silla, it is true that there are not many ancient Korean materials in the Gyeongnam area, which was not only a part of Silla, but also belonged to Gaya. In this article, among the ancient epigraph that have been handed down to the present Gyeongsangnam-do region, we have presented items that can be discussed as ancient Korean materials, and examined the ancient Korean languages ​​of Gyeongnam. In Gaya's data, the name of the government office can be confirmed from the inscription. In addition, in the materials of the Unified Silla period, the ancient Korean of Gyeongnam was briefly discussed in Chinese materials, focusing on Buddhist materials. Through this discussion, it can be confirmed that the Gyeongnam data are not heterogeneous data from the Silla data in the Gyeongnam data or the Silla data. It was discussed that the Sarira tureen found in Sancheong has Korean and Korean literature as both materials and creative texts. As an 8th century data, not only did it show the most excellent aspect among these two materials in which grammatical forms appear, but also ‘prayer' discussed the possibility as the oldest creative text in the history of Korean literature.
