김수영 시집 『달나라의 장난』의 전집 및 복간본 수록 양상과 오류

Abstract

익히 알고 있듯 ‘전집’은 『달나라의 장난』에 수록된 시들의 배열을 창작 순으로 흩어놓음으로써 시집 구성에 담긴 김수영의 의도를 확인할 수 없도록 해놓았다. 김수영이 자신의 판단에 따라 선택한 시편들을 배열함으로써 구성해 놓은 ‘의미의 순열’을 제대로 반영하지 못했다는 한계도 문제이지만 『김수영 전집』이 지닌 더 큰 문제는 따로 있다. 『달나라의 장난』에 수록된 몇몇 시들을 판본을 거듭하면서 ‘훼손’에 가깝게 변형시켜놓고 있는 것이다. 전집은 당시의 맞춤법을 일관성 없이 적용하고 있으며, 때로는 조사를 이유 없이 바꿔놓고 있다. 또한 동일한 시가 판본에 따라 9개의 연으로 구성되기도 하고 10개의 연으로 구성되고 있으나 이에 대한 설명이나 별다른 기준을 제시하지 않고 있다. 이 연구는 김수영의 시집 『달나라의 장난』(1959) 시편들이 그의 사후 간행된 『김수영 전집』의 초판과 재판, 3판과 복간본에 어떠한 방식으로 수록되고 있는지를 원전비평적 관점에서 살폈다. 정본으로서의 『달나라의 장난』이 그의 사후 간행된 전집의 판본들에 거듭 변이되는 양상을 맞춤법과 띄어쓰기, 조사, 행과 연 등의 차이를 통해 살펴보고, 그 과정에서 많은 오류를 확인하였다.

As you are well aware of, the 『Kim Soo-young’s Complete Work』 disperses the arrangement of the poems in 『Play in the Moon Country』 in the order of creation, so that Kim Soo-young's intention contained in the composition of the poetry collection cannot be confirmed. The limitation of not properly reflecting the “permutation of meaning” composed by arranging the psalms chosen by Kim Soo-young according to his judgment is also a problem, but there is a bigger problem with the 『Kim Soo-young's Complete Work』. Some of the poems contained in the 『Play in the Moon Country』 have been reprinted and transformed closer to 'Recreating'. The complete works are inconsistently applying the spelling of the time, sometimes changing the investigation for no reason. In addition, Also, depending on the version of the same poem, it consists of 9 stanzas or 10 stanzazs, but there is no explanation or other standards for this. This study examines how the psalms of Kim Soo-young's collection of poetry『Play in the Moon Country』 (1959) are included in the first and reprints, third editions and reprints of Kim Soo-young's complete works published after his death, from a perspective of textual criticism. Through the differences in spelling, spacing, investigation, line and stanza, etc., the pattern in which the 『Play in the Moon Country』 as an authentic text is repeatedly changed in the versions of his posthumously published works was examined, and many errors were identified.
